twillingate boat trip

(the natural arch, as seen here)

(a real whale skeleton)

(fishing boat at the wharf)

(examining the lobster pool)

(an ugly stick)

a coworker's family generously offered to take us out on their big boat while we were in twillingate. i have only been on boats a handful of times, and i always love it. we visited the crow head lighthouse, the natural arch in little harbour, and we docked at the hillgrade wharf restaurant for supper. there is something so cool about arriving at a restaurant by boat. we had such a great time, though we saw not one iceberg or whale.
